Delete your account
Permanently delete your account and all workspaces you own, and what happens to your data.
You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from Account & security → Delete account. Toolies asks for your password (and your authenticator code if two-factor authentication is on).
Before you can delete#
Toolies checks every workspace you own and refuses the deletion, telling you why, while:
- creators are still connected: remove them from Creators first,
- a post is being published or a creator is connecting: wait a few minutes,
- a payment is being processed,
- an affiliate payout is waiting to be sent.
What happens#
- All workspaces you own are deleted: planned posts are cancelled and won’t be published, and your uploads are erased.
- Their team members lose access. To keep a client space going, transfer its ownership to a manager before deleting your account.
- You’re signed out everywhere, and AI assistants you connected stop working.
- If you were on someone else’s team, you leave it.
- Invoices are kept for accounting, without your name or email.
- Remaining paid time isn’t refunded, and unpaid affiliate earnings are forfeited.
You receive a confirmation email. Posts already published stay on Instagram; delete them in the Instagram app if needed. The same email address can sign up again later as a new account.
